Since graduating from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science (Nursing) in 2008, Inneke spent her first 10 years of nursing in acute care and management of surgical patients. It was during this time that she developed her care focus to complex wound management and neurology specialties. Working in Neurology and pain management, Inneke developed advanced knowledge of head and neck anatomy and was particularly interested in the use of Botulin Toxin for management of chronic pain, primarily migraine management. From this exposure, Inneke quickly found her passion for treating patients for medical and aesthetic management with Botulin Toxin and other cosmetic procedures.
Inneke loves combining an anatomical, scientific approach with her artistic eye to improve patient outcomes. She strongly believes most patients seeking treatments are all aware of the areas they want to improve but don’t necessarily have the vocabulary or understanding of the underlying anatomical processes causing their concern. Thus, Inneke’s approach to patient treatments is educational. She believes in empowering patients as the more understanding they have about their specific anatomy and aging process, the more autonomy patients have over selecting appropriate treatment plans.
Her love for education is evident in her consultations and her roles as an Advanced clinical trainer for various industry pharmaceutical companies. She loves to share her knowledge with other industry providers and her patients!
