WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING TREATMENT?
During this 1hour appointment, suitability for treatment will be determined based on treatment goals, previous treatment history and previous medical history. The Biostimulator treatment is delivered via a device called a cannula, which minimizes the risks of bruising and bleeding. The treatment is well tolerated with only initial minimal reports of mild discomfort as the use of anesthetic makes the treatment well tolerated. Mild swelling is typical the day of treatment and usually subsides by 24 hours.
Post treatment patients are required to massage the treatment area with the 5 x 5 x 5 rule.
Massage is required for 5 minutes and day, 5 times a day for 5 days. This is to reduce potential treatment complications and maximize product distribution for best treatment outcomes.
Results take 12 weeks to see full effects of treatment. Depending on tissue treated and desired outcome, up to three sessions are recommended at six-week intervals between sessions.
Initial treatment of the face and/or neck requires 2 vials.
After the initial treatment, patients can choose to treat with 1 vial per session if appropriate to their treatment plan.
