Skin Boosters
Skin boosters belong to a specialised category of dermal filler treatment. Unlike traditional fillers, skin boosters are designed to restore, hydrate and improve the overall quality of the skin, and they do so without adding volume.
Skin boosters are composed of hydraulic acid, a compound that occurs naturally in the skin's tissue, and helps hydrate and restore skin quality. Skin boosters absorb water, bringing deep hydration, improved smoothness and an overall improved firmness of the skin. As the name suggests, skin boosters give the skin a literal "boost".
Skin boosters not only hydrate and improve the tone and texture of the skin, but can also help reduce the appearance of pores, fine lines, and acne scarring.
Skin boosters are suitable for us on the face (including the delicate under-eye area), neck, décolletage and the back of the hands.
Skin boosters can be utilised as a single treatment to add a quick glow to the skin, or as a treatment bundle - 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart - to maximise treatment benefits and longer-lasting results.
Bio-Remodellers (PROFHILO)
Similar to skin boosters, bio-remodellers are unique members of the dermal filler family. Bio-remodellers contain hyaluronic acid at high and low molecular weights. High concentrations of hyaluronic acid and the uniquely formulated molecular composition, helps the product spread uniformly beneath the skin. Once injected a process known as “bio-remodelling” is triggered.
This revolutionary treatment helps ease the ageing process by drawing water into the skin and stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. Over time, integrity is restored to the structure of the skin and elasticity is improved. As a result, we see an improvement in the appearance of fine lines, and more fullness and bounce of the skin. Bio-remodellers act to simultaneously improve the integrity of the internal structures beneath the skin and add a youthful appearance to the face.
The most common treatment areas include the face, neck and décolletage.
Initial treatment requires 2 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments are recommended every 6 months.
