Dermal filler has become an increasingly popular treatment option to restore and enhance key facial features.

A common type of facial dermal filler is made from hyaluronic acid; a synthetic form of a polymer that is naturally distributed widely throughout our connective, epithelial and neural tissues.

It provides structural and biochemical support and is a major component in tissue regeneration and inflammation response, both phases of skin wound repair and regeneration. So not only can Dermal filler improve our external aesthetic, it’s also working hard beneath the surface to aid our bodies natural cellular turnover of collagen, fibrous connective tissue and epithelium - which production slows during the ageing process.

DERMAL FILLER CAN:

  • Restore lost volume in the tissue.
  • Recreate the natural youthful curves of the face.
  • Define the jawline, chin and cheekbones.
  • Lift and support the ligaments that cause heaviness in the jowls & lower face
  • Replace lost volume that causes hollowing in the temples.
  • Volumize the cheeks and rejuvenate the undereye junction to correct and restore hollowing and tiredness of the under eyes (Tear Troughs).
  • Replace lost volume, hydrate, and redefine the lips.
  • Treat stubborn lines, folds, and wrinkles such as lipstick lines and smile lines caused by animation without affecting natural movement patterns.
  • Treat acne scarring.

Longevity of Dermal Filler varies deepening on the type used and area treated. Typically, most dermal fillers last between 9-24 months and most patients will have regular maintenance treatments 9-12 monthly.

The type and amount of dermal filler required depends on the patient’s individual goals and aesthetic needs and can only be determined during consultation in clinic. Due to new legislation effective from the 1st of July 2023, we are unable to publish variations of dermal filler pricing online. All costs involved are explained during consultation including options for filler packages.

All patients require a comprehensive consultation prior to any cosmetic procedure to determine suitability and understand the risks involved. Please refer to our FAQ if you require further information on suitability of treatment.

**Cosmetic treatments carry risks and may not be suitable for everyone. A consultation is performed prior to every treatment. Cosmetic injectables are invasive medical procedures carrying risks that need to be discussed with a qualified health practitioner. Individual results vary.
